E-mail

The form field allows users to enter an e-mail address. Clicking the e-mail address opens a dedicated e-mail client where you can send the pre-configured message.

The basic configuration is presented in the General form field configuration.

Advanced configuration

To access additional configuration options, click the Advanced configuration button available in the bottom, right corner of the form field configuration window.

1. To

The recipient's e-mail address (a variable containing the address can be entered here). The address entered here cannot be modified in the form.

2. CC

Carbon copy – e-mail address of an individual other than the main message recipient who will receive the message copy. The information on delivering the copy to an additional person is visible for the main recipient.

3. BCC

Blind carbon copy – e-mail address of an individual other than the main message recipient who will receive the message copy. The information on delivering the copy to an additional person is not visible for the main recipient.

4. Subject

The subject of the e-mail message.

5. Message content

The e-mail recipient’s address is the value entered into this form field. It cannot be changed in the configuration.

2. Message content

The message content cannot contain any HTML tags – they are displayed as a standard unformatted text. If the message content uses a variable that references a Multiple lines of text form field in the advanced mode, any HTML markers it contains are also displayed as plain text.

The total number of characters in the fields: To, CC, BCC, Subject, and Message content cannot exceed 2000.

3. Variables editor

Dynamically generated tree containing all variables available in a given location of Designer Studio. Information on how to use variables in WEBCON BPS, as well as a list of variables can be found in the Variables chapter.
