Steps

Steps are the stages in a workflow that represent crucial points in a decision-making process. Their function is to distinguish certain logical parts of a workflow.
A step most often represents a task to be completed by a user or group. All the steps that make up a workflow can be viewed in two ways. The first is a table in the General tab containing the list of workflow steps along with their IDs, types, and order:
